Simply there are 10 recorded backing tracks, 5 for major, 5 for minor which gets transposed for each key.
It has only two chord progressions, major and minor(aelioan-ionian) which is limiting if you are playing guitar long enough. No mixoldian, locrian modes and more sophisticated chord progressions etc.. It has 5 styles, 2 blues, 1 rock, reggea and jazz..
The app has shows you only the minor and major pentatonic scales of 7 diatonic keys. It emphasizes root note and passing note of the minor pentatonic scale. It doesnt show you which chord is currently playing and corresponding root, third and fifth notes with changing chords which are critical for improvising. It would be a nice addition with the next update.
User interface and the overall recording quality of the backing tracks is good. If you want to learn about minor and pentatonic scale and want to practice playing over a backing track this app might come handy. Otherwise you might find it too beginners level for your taste.
